Hello everyone! and welcome to Japanese at work.com.
Today We will study the pronunciation of Japanese vowels with you.
Let’s practise pronouncing vowels correctly as a basic part of the Japanese language.
To do this, first learn the correct mouth shape.
Now, let's check the correct mouth shape while looking in the mirror.
あ- open your mouth wide enough to fit two or three fingers vertically.
い- Pull the corners of your mouth up towards your ears.
う- pursing your lips and thrusting them forward.
え- Pull your lips slightly to the left or right.
お- Create a large space in the mouth.
You may not normally be aware of the shape of your mouth, so look carefully in the mirror and observe how your mouth is shaped.
Then practice each note out loud.
That wraps up our guide for today.
I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed creating it. Your support means the world to me. Stay tuned for more exciting content, and I can't wait to share new information and ideas with you in the next post. Until then, take care and thank you for being a fantastic part of our community!
